This ride is an IMBA Epic. Beautiful trail alongside Waldo Lake. The trail is at 5500 feet of elevation so you will notice the altitude if you live at a lower elevation. The trailforks link and map we are providing describes this ride as easy, but most people would actually describe this ride as more intermediate than beginner so note this when planning to do thr ride and anticipating your output. Take the ratings and description on the Trailforks link (which we did not make in this case) with a bit of a grain of salt.
The season to ride this trail is short: Mid to late August until the end of September when the campground closes. Watch out for mosquitoes in the early to mid summer.
