Description: Somewhere Over There is one of Squamish’s best trails, nestled into a beautiful forest with a feeling of being far away from everything. We have added Another Man’s Gold at the start of this loop just to get you smiling as this trail is one of Squamish’s under-ridden gems. The Powerhouse Plunge Part 1 is a staple of the Test of Metal XC race; it is incredibly technical, and if you can find flow on it (yes it is possible) then you should be quite pleased with yourself. This is an awesome advanced route that showcases some of the best trails in Squamish. The climbs are modest in nature and the descents are technical and challenging and, when ridden the right way, can be thrilling and flowy (but you need to pick your lines carefully to find the flow).
For a long day in the saddle consider riding either Half Nelson or Angry Midget first and then linking into this ride.
Key trails are: Another Man’s Gold, Powerhouse Plunge 1 and Somewhere Over There.
