Description: Hiline is an absolute must do ride when you visit Sedona. It is an advanced trail and it has some very advanced moves in a couple of spots. If you are a determined intermediate rider, you’ll love it but you’ll need to be prepared to walk a number of sections. Hiline starts with a challenging and technical climb followed by some awesome views of the Verde Valley region. The descent is really fun and offers some great challenges. After Hiline, Baldwin is a fast trail with flow and few bigger moves (if you are seeking them out). After riding Baldwin the trail briefly parallels Oak Creek and there are a few beautiful swim spots if you’re in the mood for a mid ride dip! Next, you’re on Templeton which has a short, steep hike-a-bike climb and then is just super scenic and fun. An easy-ish climb up Hermit takes you back to your starting point. This trail passes the famous Cathedral Rock (you might see people hiking up to see it). The start/finish area of this ride also overlooks the Bell Rock vortex. It is pretty cool to see trees that have grown in a tight spiral in these areas… it is worth checking them out and taking a moment to sit and reflect.
Key trails are: Hiline, Baldwin, Templeton, Hermit.
