Description: This is not your typical Squamish mountain bike ride. In fact, the entire ride is on double track and old fire road. What makes this ride so special is that it’s one of the only alpine rides in the entire Sea to Sky corridor, and at the end of the trail there’s a cabin that you can overnight in.
The ride can easily be done in a day, but there is something special about pedaling into a cabin, staying over night and riding out the next day.
Notes:
– If you decide to overnight you will need to pay; there is a cash receptacle at the trail-head where you can register your group and pay for your stay. This is managed through BC Parks. The overnight is fee is not very much and is well worth it.
– The cabin is well stocked and all you need is your sleeping bag, sleeping pad, food and cookware as there are plumbed in stoves inside the cabin with propane provided.
